Terms of Use

By accessing or using NuzBrain ("the App"), operated by Mighty Warrior Apps LLC, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

NuzBrain is an AI-assisted strategy tool for Pokémon Nuzlocke challenge runs. It helps you prepare for boss fights and gym leader battles by generating strategy suggestions and in-battle contingency plans based on the team and run information you provide, combined with hand-curated fight data where available.

NuzBrain is a strategic planning aid for a self-imposed video game challenge. It does not modify, hack, or interact with any game software, and it is not a guarantee of any particular in-game outcome.

Strategies, threat assessments, and contingency plans in NuzBrain are generated by AI (in part using Anthropic's Claude models), grounded where possible in curated expert data. AI-generated content:

• May contain errors, omissions, or suggestions that don't fit your specific situation
• Is provided as strategic guidance only, not a guarantee that following it will prevent a loss in your Nuzlocke run
• Should be weighed against your own judgment of your team, box, and the fight ahead

You are solely responsible for the in-game decisions you make, including any decisions based on NuzBrain's output.

NuzBrain offers a Free tier and a paid Pro tier ($4.99/month or $39.99/year). Payments are processed securely by Stripe.

• You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from your Account page.
• Cancelling stops future billing, but you keep Pro access through the end of your current paid period (the month or year you already paid for).
• We do not offer refunds for partial subscription periods.

Registration.

To use NuzBrain, you must:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Be at least 13 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements

Account Security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission
• Attempt to bypass rate limits, usage caps, or Free/Pro tier gating
• Attempt to manipulate, "jailbreak," or inject instructions into NuzBrain's AI system (for example, submitting team names or notes designed to override its behavior)
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Your Content.

You retain all rights to the content you create and store in NuzBrain — your team information, box notes, additional context, and saved strategies. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content (including to our AI provider) solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Content Responsibility.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit. We do not monitor user content but reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

The App, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user content and Pokémon-related trademarks), is owned by Mighty Warrior Apps LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without express permission.

Trademark Notice.

NuzBrain is an independent, unofficial tool created by fans. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc., or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and all related names, characters, and marks referenced in NuzBrain are trademarks of their respective owners and are used for descriptive and reference purposes only.

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times. We may suspend or terminate service for maintenance, updates, or other reasons without prior notice.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms of Use periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information, including how your Nuzlocke run data is shared with our AI provider to generate strategies. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated strategy content
• Warranties that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES — INCLUDING THE LOSS OF A POKÉMON OR NUZLOCKE RUN RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED STRATEGY CONTENT.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NuzBrain, Mighty Warrior Apps LLC, and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these terms.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violations of these terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time from your Account page or by contacting us.

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of appropriate jurisdiction.

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
